Certain expedited employment visas are being processed again

Certain expedited employment visas are being processed again

There are many people around the world who would like to move to various cities in Florida. These people all want to come here for various reasons as well. It could be to escape poor living conditions in their own country. It could be to live with family, who have previously moved here, to go to school and for many other reasons. One of these other reasons is for employment immigration. Many people move here for jobs, many of them in high tech type jobs.

There is a certain kind of visa, an H-1B, that is a unique visa often utilized by tech workers coming to the U.S. for jobs. This visa is unique for a couple of different reasons. One reason is that they are capped at 85,000 and people get them through a lottery on April 1st each year. Another unique aspect is that they can be expedited for an increased fee and must be processed within 15 days if expedited.

In March the Trump administration suspended the expedited process on these visas. However, recently it started processing them again and they can be obtained through the expedited process immediately. Most experts in the field do not take this to be a change in the policy since it affects such a small number of people, but it does allow more tech workers to start their jobs in a quick period of time.

This type of visa is a unique visa, but there are many people who would like that type of visa or other types of employment visas to obtain jobs in Florida. However, these people need to go through the immigration process. There are various types of visas depending on the type of employment they are seeking and how long they will be here. It can be a very complicated process, but experienced attorneys may be able to guide one through it.
