Enforcement of undocumented immigration to increase in Miami
Miami is a city that is full of immigrants from many different countries in the world. President Trump has been consistent with his message of not tolerating undocumented immigration. A recent plan was announced by Trump’s administration to further crack down on undocumented immigrants.
The Department of Justice will be giving out $98 million dollars to law enforcement agencies across the country, including Miami, to pay for new officers. In exchange the federal government and immigration officials will receive access inside local jails and detain undocumented immigrants. Miami is poised to receive $3 million after recently shedding its status of a sanctuary city for immigrants.
Immigrants’ rights are constantly being addressed in the United States. Immigration issues are often complicated and can involve many people, including families that wish to stay together. If a person or family is facing immigration issues they may want to seek legal help. An immigration attorney may help their client get the answers they are searching for. They understand the current political climate and its uneasiness with immigration. They can help with all immigration issues, including deportation, detention hearings, corporate and employment immigration, temporary visas and citizenship. An attorney understands the United States is a nation of immigrants and will continue to fight for their rights.
Those who are facing immigration issues in the Miami area can feel alone and scared, especially in the current political climate. An immigration attorney can help their clients get the answers they need and deserve. They can help families stay together and untangle immigration problems.
